Some may wonder if the transfer to groups.io process is working. I sent the invitation from one of my groups yesterday and the invitation was accepted this afternoon. I upgraded the new member (
[email protected]) to moderator status and initiated the transfer process using the button on the groups.io transfer webpage.
The webpage quickly (automated, no doubt) showed, "We are in process of transferring your group. Depending on Yahoo and demand, this may take several days. You will be notified by email when the transfer is completed."
So, if you are embarking on this transfer process, my experience is that it takes about a day to get going but it does get there. I'll report what happens.
