This only refers to logging in to groups.io for the first time, or logging in to
the website via email. groups.io sends a special message with a link in it.
Click on it and you have acces to the website.
It doesn't apply to just replying to a regular group message via email. You
can reply as late as you want, unless the topic or thread gets closed.
