Currently, the assignment of such responsibilities is achieved via the "Moderator Permissions" checkboxes in each Moderator's member record. To see what options are available, you first have to make someone a Moderator; but for your convenience I'm providing a screenshot.

There are already 14 fields here, and I have heard nothing to suggest that the list is going to be expanded anytime soon; but you can always make a suggestion to that effect .
