Marv, Attachments are dangerous because they? are a favorite tool of criminal hackers for infecting computer systems. Nothing is perfect, but it is worth noting that Groups.io will be scanning for infected messages, attachments and uploads. Defense in layers though: keep your guard up. Both your suspicions about things that arrive by email and any scanning your own email service and software does.
