Any change is stressful, even change for the better.

Question for you owners. I reading that emails are being spoofed. How is that occurring.?
I don't believe I've encountered any clear indication that groups.io emails are being spoofed or being used for spam. What is happening is that overly-aggressive filters sometimes struggle to tell the difference, and sometimes divert/head off legitimate group emails.

In that context, some of the GMF members (including me) are only acknowledging what spammers do as we speculate as to why some subscriber's mail filters are making this error.

Also, if we transition a group, does the former group lose all the email addresses and member names?
The transfer agent does no harm to your Yahoo group. In this context, "transfer" is an unfortunate term..."copy" would be more appropriate.

That said, once you do complete the process and your subscribers get accustomed to groups.io, I think you will happily cut the Yahoo umbilical cord on your own initiative.

Hope this helps,
Bruce?
