Update: The GM8 works just fine (indoors still) using ASCOM from my laptop with a USB-RS232 adapter cable.? AsiAir doesn't do hardly anything - it recognizes the mount, will send location data and that's about it.? I feel like I'm missing the "Big Picture" somehow...
