First thing I¡¯d check is to make sure the motors are connected correctly. Maybe Dec is connected to RA and so Dec is trying to ¡°track¡± the sky.

If not the problem then some troubleshooting is in order. Try swapping the cables first and see if the problem persists or moves to the other motor. Then try swapping the motors and see if the problem stays with the motor or the axis.

After these tests report back and we can go from there.
