Sonny, you were never a member of Gemini-II users group, at least not under the same login you're using here (this is the Gemini user group, primarily focused on Gemini-1). You may want to join that group if you're using Gemini-2, you'll find more about that controller there.
One thing you may want to try is to set the ASCOM driver setting to use goto to flip the mount:
