If you're connecting directly from the Gemini 2 unit to an ethernet port on your computer I believe you need a crossover cable instead of a patch cable. Best, Glen

Anon, I haven’t done this recently and I have an Ethernet port on Mac. I would first try turning the Gemini on first and then plugging it in and if that fails plug it an then turn on the Gemini.
