Re: Keeping the Level 6 Upgrade Kit
The extra SD card is more of a convenience. I just re-used the same one that was in my Gemini, but first backed up all the original files to my NAS/cloud storage. If your PC doesn't have a micro SD

I¡¯m experimenting with the new AA+ (256G which uses a different controller than AA+ 64G). I usually use sharpcap or NINA. When field setup and PA, sometimes the PA doesn¡¯t always slew the mount at

Yes, Chris, this is correct. Encoder Resolution will stay at 256, an additional Step Mode 1x or 4x will be added to that webpage. Ren¨¦ Am 11.07.23 um 17:20 schrieb criscopenneys via groups.io:

Re: Level 6 Upgrade: How to activate 4x-mode
Another way is to check the "Mount" webpage under "Gearing".? ? I took a screen shot of my L5 setup before the L6 upgrade (first pic) and after the L6 install (second pic). Note the "Positioning

Re: Keeping the Level 6 Upgrade Kit
If you've already done the upgrade using this SD card, the same card will not work for another upgrade as Gemini makes changes to the files. If you have the original, untouched SD card, you can copy
Re: Keeping the Level 6 Upgrade Kit
Right, I may as well just keep it. Is it possible to get the data that was on the SD card that gets put in the Gemini? I am wondering if I could upgrade someone else's Gemini.

Re: Keeping the Level 6 Upgrade Kit
It's your decision, Pete. Should you need to reprogram the PIC controllers at some later point, you'll need a PICKit programmer. If you do return it, you can buy a cheap clone later. These run just

Keeping the Level 6 Upgrade Kit
Is it worth it to keep the upgrade kit for $30?

Re: Blue Screen
Pete, you had two things going on at the same time. One a warning beep about approaching the safety limit, the second an error condition -- a stall. Both produce beeps, the stall will be random, based

Re: Blue Screen
Not sure what you mean by erratic/random/distorted As you approach the limit, it will beep slowly and then more rapidly until it hits the limit -- Brian Brian Valente astronomy portfolio

Re: Blue Screen
Okay thanks, Yesterday I got some strange erratic beeping right before the mount reached its limit. At the same time, I was getting "RA Stall!" on the display. The spring-loaded worm was too tight.
