Re: Tracking stops
I use an older version of NINA and if I remember correctly, this was an issue with it. It happens after finishing the three point polar alignment, when I press to stop the routine, the mount stops

Not moving.? ?Star trails are very large, not subtle.

Re: Tracking stops
You mean it¡¯s not tracking at all; after 20 minutes it hasn¡¯t moved? The mount should clock along, then receive your guiding correction in pulses. Not moving, or not autoguiding the moving?

Re: Gemini will point in the complete wrong direction

Ryan, the touch screen is not multi-touch, so press only one button at a time.

Re: Gemini will point in the complete wrong direction
This may need to be a different thread, but something else that has been happening at L5 and L6 even with updating the firmware. When i click the DEC or RA button on the touch screen OR the bottom
Re: Gemini will point in the complete wrong direction
I did have the problem before and turned off the NINA to mount sync which helped. I ran it last night with 0 problems. Guiding RMS was 0.3 total, performed the meridian flip perfectly. So Hopefully

Re: Gemini will point in the complete wrong direction
Ryan, When first starting out with my GM811G HD I did quite a few "Factory Resets" To make sure I had not screwed up one of the settings. It takes you back to reset anything we, as humans, may have

Re: Gemini Telescope and Firecapture question
Gary, It sounds like you don¡¯t have FireCapture set up correctly for your mount¡ Sometimes I¡¯ll do the same thing as JB. Other times I¡¯ll build a small 3-4 point model on whatever side of the

Re: Gemini Telescope and Firecapture question
Hi Gary, My customary way to proceed with my own G11 for occultations by asteroids (and likely working for planets) is to centre the target and run the guiding with NINA, then disconnecting the camera

Gemini Telescope and Firecapture question
Been using my G11/C11 setup for DSO with NINA for a couple years. A few months ago I changed com from USB to Ethernet to connect to the G11. Works great. Now I'm doing planetary with FireCapture. As
Re: PDEC out of range errors
Hi Ken, The PRA and PDEC values show the Physical Step counting in the respective axes. Their upper limit is the amount of steps for a complete circle. You can watch these values changing in the
Re: PDEC out of range errors
Hi Ken, that really does sound like an issue with intermittent power. Whether it's the supply, the cable, the connector or some other issue inside of Gemini is hard to tell from here. Regards. -Paul
