Joe.
I have no answers for your questions, as I don't know.? I am sure
that Dome control could have been added to the ASCOM driver, but
Paul elected not to.? Your dome software should have it's own ASCOM
interface does it not.
I don't have an iPhone, mine is an Android, so I have no idea if
SkySafari will work.? I do know that the mobile web pages are not
doing serial command set, but actually working from inside the Web
server. ? Maybe Ren¨¦ or Paul can shed more light on how the Web
virtual serial port emulation works.

Hi Tom,
2 questions..
Can dome support through ASCOM be added to the WEB server.
I use LesveDome which requires ASCOM.
Will the web server work for apps like SkySafari on the
iPad. It interfaces using The LX200 GPS command set. By
selecting 192...111 and a port #, could GII recieve the
commands and answer accordingly. SkySafari uses only a
limited set of these commands, but requests scope info
every second.
Thanks
Joe
