My experience with PAC is the same. Twice done and excellent results.

Polar Axis Correction works very well. Usually a regular alignment with the Polar scope and then one iteration of PAC brings the Polar Alignment to a degree of accuracy that I do not see drift. Two iterations will make it even more perfect.
