Er, no! I did not understand that was required at all. I believe I saw something about downloading driver(s) in this group a while back That was for USB conectivity to ASCOM IIRC. Also something about DHCP/IP. Do I need to download anything before connecting an RJ45 cable to the port labeled "ethernet? to my Win 7 machine"
