I have turned the Gemini power switch off and on many times and also disconnected and reconnected the battery many times. I have tried three different batteries and two different power cords. I also disconnected and reconnected all cables many times, and tried it without the GPS unit connected. No luck.

I have not yet opened either case for any purpose: The unit has the same internal battery, the same SD cards (thus far un-reseated by me) and the same software as when Losmandy delivered it.

I thought I should ask advice before I proceeded further. Any suggestions?

Open the case up and remove and reseat the micro SD card.? Power up and see if the Gemini boots normally.? If it does not contact Losmandy on Monday you may have a bad micro SD card.??

Oh,. I forgot to ask as it seems like a long shot but can you talk to the Gemini using the Ethernet port?? If so this would mostly isolate the issue to the HC and cable.??
