You could try this to update the HC without using the GFU (just in case something is wonky with the GFU utility).? You will need to copy the V1.64 gemhc.bin file directly to the HCFirmware folder on the MU SD card.? I think you can do this through the SD Card webpage or remove the MU SD card and insert into a reader (method I use).? Then copy the V1.64 gemhc.bin file to the HCFirmware folder and reinstall the SD card.? Upon power up, the HC should update if everything is communicating correctly.? Might sound like a lot but is really pretty easy.

For whatever reason, GFU utility always times out on my system so this is how I update my HC firmware.
