The physical buttons are, you can also use the touch screen for one axis? and a physical button for the other. But the physical buttons you can also push both axis simultaneously.
Don¡¯t know what or how the combination of touch screen button and physical buttons is designed to work. I generally use one or the other, not both simultaneously. I¡¯m also not sure that in years of using Gemini I¡¯ve noticed the behavior you¡¯re describing, but perhaps I¡¯ve never tried the key combinations that you are using.
