While possible, that would have to be a dramatic change from the last time I used the mount, which was just prior to sending the computer and hand controller off to Losmandy for update.

A mount in good.mechanial.condition will never slip.? I've never had any clutch slippage while imaging, if you have clutch slippage while imaging the mount is very out of balance and/or has oil contaminated clutches.?
