I will say there is a learning curve with PEMPRO and it took me a couple of tries before I dialed it in. Did you run the configuration wizards for your mount prior to recording a curve??

It is a worthy read. You definitely have to take your time with the process. I would just dedicate an evening to getting a nice long curve recorded and then testing it before and afterwards with a PHD2 run and guiding pulses switched off.?

it isn’t worth recording PEC curves when the seeing is poor and you should have your worm gear well adjusted to start.?

Finally, if you follow the directions in the primer you will see that you may have to invert the curve for it to work. Again, there is quite the learning curve but you will get there.?

I probably ran the process a half dozen times before I got a satisfactory curve that I use everyday. If you run the process and don’t get better results, just turn PEC off and get back to imaging… try again tomorrow. You’ll get there eventually, but a bad PEC is way worse than no PEC.?
