Re: PemPro and GM811

Hi John,

First things first. Let's confirm you did the following:

1. Ran the calibration wizard.
2. collected multiple worm cycles with PEC OFF
3. Created and uploaded a PEC curve
4. With PEC ON collect several worm cycles to confirm the PEC curve does not need to be inverted. This step confirms that periodic error was reduced instead of increased.

I'll take a look at your logs if you use the PEMPro Log Zipper utility (from PEMPro's Wizards menu) and post the zip file

Subject: [Gemini-II_io] PemPro and GM811

I realize this isn't a PemPro support group, but I'm hoping someone here can answer my question quickly.

I downloaded the trial of PemPro v3 and gave it a try last night. I own a GM811 in a remote observatory, so I picked
the Gemini II 4/5/6 telescope option and followed the documented workflow, starting with calibration. I'm running
Gemini II version 5.

The guiding results were a little worse, so that was frustrating. I ran everything again and it didn't help.

Has anyone used PemPro with a GM811 and gotten better results?
