David Partridge might clarify this, but it's my understanding that the PEC programming alleviated some of the burden on the main CPU, aiding in managing limits, horizon, and motion reliability. The lack thereof would impact more than just resolution and the introduction of FUD, given that the logic is predicated on the collaboration of the three processors. This assumption ruled out any testing in the absence of the L6 Gemini-2 motherboard.
