Please forgive the observation but that looks like a basic user panel.? That option if selected it changes the behavior of the mount.? If it had been programed in ASCOM, as I'm sure it could have been, then yes it would be an automated function of ASCOM.? But programed in Gemini-2 means the HC deals with this too.? As the user should be aware wherever they stand, remote or local, I made the suggestion to echo the state to the HC.

It immediately pops to mind, does it show if we save the state to the SD Card to retrieve the text by FTP?? (see: so many questions, sorry)
