Another long story - I noticed some of the videos on my current card wouldn't play via the web interface so I compared them to ones in combined.zip and they were different/corrupted/cantankerous and unplayable on my laptop so to be safe I was going to put new formatted cards in for peace of mind. I ended up ordering some 8Gb SanDisk Industrial ones so they should be OK - will install the current firmware on them and then use the upgrade process that comes next week.
