It is the first time I read this. I guess this option allows me to
connect to the Gemini II via an Ethernet cable ...
Simply here. There's not only the web server. Beside Ethernet (and
ASCOM working over it), you've also have the USB connection to get rid
of the Serial2USB converters.
And, there's much more ;-)
