I have the book History of Marion County by Rena Cobb.? on page 279 in the Griffin family narrative there is this John Griffin married Jane. their daughter Caroline b abt 1821 d 1850 in AL married Langston Bacon Jan 1st, 1840 in Stewart County, GA.? His father was Lissel Bacon of Bibb County.That was all I found in the book.? There was an Elizabeth Bacon born in 1820 in Marion County but did not list her father. Hope this helps a bit.
