GA Digital Intertie [email protected]
This group is to build on digital nodes within the state of GA and those that extend into Florida for handling BBS traffic and RMS through Packet and VARA on HF, VHF, & UHF. While a focus should be on maintaining RF connectivity through amateur bands, connections established on internet or similar WAN technologies is also acceptable. The purpose of the intertie extends to supporting any EmComm needs on a "as-needed" basis and to support normal comms on a day-to-day basis.
While the primary focus is on Packet and VARA Modes, other "digital" modes that support communications for the intertie are also welcomed to include DSTAR/DRATS, AREDN, Pactor, ARDOP, etc.
