Schematic version?
Hi Andy and group, ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? I recently came across the multiband exciter and am currently laying out a board for my own use. After reading through some of the messages there seems to be mention of a newer schematic. ?The schematic I am working from is Revision 1.2B dated ?18th August 2013. ?I have seen a mention or two of a schematic Revision 1.6 dated 14 February 2015 and was wondering where I could find a copy of this updated schematic? Great job on the exciter Andy. I also thank you for adding me to the group I love reading about your projects. ?? Thank You ? ?Ian ?K3HQL |
Re: PCB
Hi Jorn Sorry to report that I do not have any MK2 BPF PCB's at this time. If there are enough requests for the MK2 BPF PCB I will order another batch but regret it is not feasible to order just one PCB. It would be possible to order just three PCB's from Oshpark but the cost may be prohibitive. Regards Andy de G6LBQ? |
Re: The Groups io Move and updates.
Hi Andy and Happy New year Well looks like we're in with . Pretty much every group I belong to has moved from Yahoo and it's a wise move. Sorry for your lose and hope all goes well with the family. Glad you're still in pursuit of completing the Irwell and can't wait to hear(and see) the project. I will have a look at your blog this weekend. 73 Ken VA3ABN On Thu, Jan 19, 2017 at 6:50 PM, g6lbq <ah.electronics@...> wrote:

The Groups io Move and updates.
Hi everyone First of all I would like to wish everyone a happy and prosperous 2017. I am pleased the move to Groups.io went smooth and without any apparent problems, so far I am finding Groups.io to be excellent and I like the modern interface and integrations. During 2016 my contribution to the group was minimal and in general it was a year I am glad to put behind me, in short it was a year we had bereavement and then Jaynes mother and my father were both diagnosed with cancer, needless to say we spent a lot of time at hospitals in 2016 and continue to do so. Last year I had little time or inclination to pursue my hobbies of radio & electronics but I am determined to get back on track during 2017. You can expect to hear more news on the development of my Irwell Multi-mode Transceiver project very soon as I am about to resume work on the main audio module. The mcHF transceiver I began building late 2015 is now up and running, I completed both the UI and RF boards during the festive period and all that remains for me to do now is a few modifications and finish the casing up. I will be glad to get the lid on the mcHF transceiver as it has sidetracked me from getting on with my own project development! ? ?For those interested I will post some pictures of my mcHF transceiver over the weekend. I did start a blog in 2016 with the intention of posting news, snippets & images of stuff I am working on but it never got going properly due to the events of last year. I am going to make consciousness effort to pick up the blog where I left off and for those interested the web link is:?? ?I started the blog by documenting how my journey into the world of radio and electronics started off and it is here where I must return and conclude before getting stuck in to the nuts and volts :) Enough for now and my thanks to everyone who has stayed with the group during the quiet times! Re: G6LBQ Yahoo Group is moving!
Hello Andy, I was a member of another group on groups.io already, and was added automatically to this group when you did the change (with an option to opt-out if wanted in the intro email).? I didn't have to do a new groups.io password since I already had one :-) Looks like it went pretty smoothly! Cheers, Mark. |

Hi Ken
Thanks for confirming this I thought it would be the case.? All is well here Ken and once the group has moved I will post an update in the new group with respect to what has been happening at the G6LBQ headquarters. Kind regards Andy de G6LBQ |

Hi Andy Hope all is well. Several of the groups I belong have already moved to Group.io and I can confirm a new password will need to be setup. It's a fairly simple process. 73 Ken VA3ABN On Tue, Jan 17, 2017 at 3:15 AM, ah.electronics@... [G6LBQ] <G6LBQ@...> wrote:

G6LBQ Yahoo Group is moving!
ah.electronics@...
Hi Everyone For some time now Yahoo Groups have been getting increasingly worse and slow to navigate. Also in recent times there have been concerns about the security and privacy of Yahoo Groups. ?There is uncertainty if the Yahoo Groups will even continue as a result of the Verizon Yahoo take over. In view of the above I am moving the G6LBQ Yahoo Group over to Groups.io Hopefully the move to Groups.io will happen in the next 24 hours and everyone who is a member of the G6LBQ Yahoo Group will receive a welcome email from Groups.io. All of the existing files, photo's and messages will move across to Groups.io during the transfer process. IMPORTANT... Whilst all of the members will be moved from Yahoo Groups to Goups.io It is my understanding that your password used to log-in to Yahoo Groups will not be transferred. ?Once you receive the notification email from Groups.io that the G6LBQ Yahoo Group has moved you will have to create a new password for logging into Groups.io. Groups.io is dedicated to groups only and has some great powerful features,?In the long-term we will be much better off at Groups.io, the interface for Groups.io is better and access to photo's and files is much quicker. I hope everyone will welcome the move to Groups.io Kind regards Andy de G6LBQ? ? |
