I note that that the RD16HHF1 PA FETs are biased to draw 745mA bias current, before drive. for best linearity and output power.? ?
I am used to 5w single IRF510 QRP rigs with about 0.2 to 0.3A standing transmit current draw and have collected LiPO batteries accordingly.? ?0.75??amp continuous on transmit is a more hefty current draw for a small portable battery powered rig, and I'm wondering is it feasible to wind back the total bias to, say 0.5 amps without compromising linearity??
