FOCC using No-Fat Cottage Cheese (or Greek Yogurt)

Sandra,

Is it acceptable to use no-fat cottage cheese (or Greek yogurt) in preparation of FOCC?

Best regards,
James

Hi James,

I'm sorry about my delay in answering. I was away from my computer for much of the day.

Most people following Dr. Budwig's diet use low-fat cottage cheese. If anyone stopped cancer by using no-fat cottage cheese or Greek yogurt, I don't recall that happening.
Dr. Budwig used Quark in her recipe, but she did say that cottage cheese was okay too. She said nothing about no-fat cc or Greek yogurt.

If anyone reading this can add some helpful information, please do; however, any comment should have some worthwhile evidence.

Kind regards,
Sandra

On the Healing Cancer Naturally site there is a FAQ for Budwig and I found a couple of references re: cottagge cheese:

Question 125: Should I buy low-fat quark or quark with 20 or 40% fat content?

Answer:

Only quark [cottage cheese] with as little fat as possible (under 1%) is optimum. The importance of the quark [cottage cheese] lies in its sulfurated amino acids. The higher the fat content of quark/cottage cheese, the lower the amount of amino acids it contains. (credits: Lothar Hirneise, top Budwig expert and the only "pupil" she ever personally taught, in his book "Das gro?e Koch- und Lehrbuch der ?l-Eiwei?-Kost" [The Great Cook and Text Book of the Oil-Protein Diet], p. 137, under the heading "Questions re quark", translated by Healing Cancer Naturally

Question 59: Which is best to use with the flaxseed oil — low-fat or fat-free cottage cheese? Or does it not make a difference?

Answer:
Either low-fat or fat-free cottage cheese is ok. Rather than spending a lot of time finding fat-free cottage cheese, I would spend the time in looking for good quality such as no additives, organic and - if you can find it - cottage cheese from unpasteurized milk

They don't give a source, but ofter refer to Lothar Herneise who apparently worked hand in hand with Dr B.

Hi Group.

In Denmark we have this alternative cancer association. ?Peter K?bke had a psa level above 600, he has used the Budwig protokol ,for many years, with susses. Peter used cottage cheese in the beginning, but later I saw he used skyr .? When I saw Peter for the first time, (2007) he was in the sixties.Ten year later,?I sa him in an interview, still going strong.(2017) I hope it would be possible to translate, or ad some subtitles to his video on the homepage.? Kost & krop / Budwig kuren / Peter K?pke og Budwig kuren / press video 1 and Video 2.?
(psa level is a way to measure prostate cancer.) ?

Hi All,

I understood that the animal fat, in a protein-rich meal (cottage cheese and quark), should be replaced by flaxseed oil.

Kind regards and keep going,
Joost

Did he ever have a medical procedure or treatments for prostate cancer?
Does he still have his prostate or was it removed?
Was cancer metastasized to other parts of his body?
Is he still alive?

Hi Constant.

Peter doesn't say anything about medical procedure or treatment for prostate cancer.?
In 2007 Peter vent to the hospital and got diagnosed with prostate cancer.
The cancer was metastasized in his shoulder, left upper arm, hip, femur, and back, and his psa level was above 600.
Peter refused kemo terapi becaurce his brother and father died of cancer.
He went on a last holiday with his wife to toscana, where he met a person who worked with alternative treatment. ( high doses c vitamin)
Peter still have his prostate, he received warm treatment, twice. ( it must be microwave on prostate 55 to 60 degrees)
No sugar, no potatoes, no pasta or rice. no milk, and no kind of starch.
After one year he felt better and later his psa level was unreadable.
Follow the cure three years before you can loosen a little bit.
I can’t find anything, that says Peter has died.

Jens.

I also use Skyr or Bavarian Quark. Both are labelled?"fat free" in UK and Italian supermarkets and both products have a high protein content; around 12g per 100g.
