Re: Brain Mets information request
Hi Rod It¡¯s a dose dependent compound found in rice & many other grains & foods, legumes etc, I take 24 grams split into 3 doses mixed in water through the day, it is a natural chemotherapeutic that does none of the harm of chemo drugs but works better than the drugs do. Look on YouTube for ip6 & inositol testimonials & you will find some webinars from various doctors & also professor Shamsuddin who has done most of the work on this over the last 40 years. Many of the testimonials are absolutely gobsmaking much like the Oleander tablets are in conjunction with Budwig or a healthy diet.

Re: Brain Mets information request
Good morning, Rebecca. Do you mean with artimisinin or artemissia? Artemisinin is a product that is derived from artemisia annua. It is not very bioavailable so you have to take it with other things like CLA, whole milk, etc (there are many opinions as to what) to help with absorbtion. Even at that the intestines develop a resistance to it and after a few days abrorbtion can be down to 30% or less so you have to "pulse" it or take a few days off for every few days on. Artemisia the herb is over 50 times more bioavailable and can be taken continuously. Also, the herb has other benifits that the concentrated artemisinin doesn't. It is like vitamin C, you are better off eating the orange than taking the pill. But, the herb contains only about 1% artemisinin, which is the target, so you need to take quite a bit it to have a significant effect. How much depends on the herb and the body size/weight.
It can be taken mixed with juice, which I did early on (1tsp per juice session), but it can irritate the stomach. After a few weeks I could feel something was working and increased the amount but then I started getting stomach pains. I tried different things like putting in capsules and taking baking soda prior to reduce acid but it didn't really help. So I went a different route, through the back door so to speak. I began adding 2 tbl of "tea" made from the annua to my coffee enemas in the morning and that worked amazingly well. I really put it to the test last summer as my daughter moved 2-1/2 hours away and I spent nearly every weekend there helping her. I ate all sorts of thing that I shouldn't but my Navarro numbers continued to maintain or drop. I did not have any relapses like I would previously when I drifted too far from the diet.
One thing I have discovered is that not all annua has the same potency so it is a bit of a crap shoot finding the dosage. The plsce where I was getting the herb ran out so I went with a different brand and had to increase the amount to maintain the same effect. I am now testing the limits and am up to 8 tbl without getting Herxy as yes. There were a few times early on where I owuld feel Herxheimers Reaction after the session. I think that is relative to the level of malignancy in the body at the time.
There is a lot to learn and there is no manual and I know of nobody else experimenting with this application.

I have recently been experimenting with artemisia annua herb and it has shown promise but I have discovered that there is a great deal of variation in the strength (or amount of artemisinin) from lot to lot with the herb. But that is another story.
I am fairly sure I will be doing a partial protocol, FO/CC in the morning, for the rest of my life. I eat raw cruciferous for evening meal every other day and the other days I alternate vegan and more "traditional" foods. I juice every day at lunch time; apple or pineapple, carrot, celery, beet, tomato, ginger, kale. But I haven't eaten a salad in years. I had a salad with a dressing made from equal parts flax oil, pumpkinseed oil, olive oil and apple cider vinegar for years but I began to gain weight so I eventually stopped and just have juice and a little hard cheese.
I believe in the protocol and if you can maintain the diet restrictions it should heal you. I have always lived by my own rules and this battle is no different. There is more to life than just being alive.

Re: Brain Mets information request
That is artemisinin, Julie, not artemisia. Artemisinin is derived from artemisia, but it is not very boiavailable. You need to take it with other things to trick the body into absorbing it and you also need to "pulse" it. That means taking it for a few days and then taking a few days off. The reason for this is the intestines develop a resistance to it. I have taken artemisinin in the past and I do believe it helped me, but I had some time ago learned that the actual herb is over 50 times more bioavailable than artemisinsin and because it is natural you can take it every day and still be absorbed fully. I began taking the herbal powder mixed in my juice and almost immediately felt improvement. The trouble is that it irritate my stomach. I have to get to bed but if you want to learn more feel free to message me directly.

As I have said, I have seen some impressive results with artemisia annua herb in my case. But it is an experiment and unconventional and there are no guarantees. One thing that seems apparent is that it doesn't compromise the Budwig Protocol.
When I found out about my situation, I immediately made the decision that I could do better than THEY could. I had 3 friends/family that had the same dx and all did what the doctor's ordered. All were dead in less than half a year after chemo. There is less than a 5% chance of survival from stage 4 lung cancer following traditional "medicine". It was a Godsend that I came upon flaxoil2 and our beloved Sandra and our dear departed Dana. They helped me see the light and I then took what I learned and added and subtracted from there.
SInce my journey began I have had many other friends/family that have contracted cancer and despite my pleas they went the pharma way and all have perished or are currently on that path. I do not trust pharma in anything they touch. Now pharma is trying to corner the market of medicinal marijuana and they will F that up as well. If there is money to be made, there will be exploitation.
Those of us who travel the natural path have to make decisions that are contrary to all the lessons we grew up following. Go to the doctor and get a pill or a shot or a bandage and all will be well. Forgive my "french" but, bullshit. I have 2 daughters who are nurses and both confirmed my suspicions that doctors receive commisions via prescriptions.
There are a few of us who are willing to experiment on ourselves for the sake of others. Cancer actually saved my life in a way. I was drinking to excess at the time and if I had not changed my path I would have been dead long ago. Dana, bless her soul, once wrote something that really hit me, "sometimes bad things happen for our own good". I just got chills again from quoting that, as it changed my life. I still don't have much of a future. I am 62 years old and didn't prepare for retirement. Doebucky:
My mom's cancer returned exactly one year after her vaccine. And it moved to her lungs. I question the relationship as well. She too followed protocol to a T for the first two years. We relaxed it a bit, still no sugar or processed food, but occasional fish. She had eggs though (organic). which I didn't really like.? Any how, this round it hit her hard and she can't eat at all. It's been an uphill battle.
She resumed eating again these days. A small salad for lunch with sunflower seeds and 2 chopped up brazil nuts. Salad dressing was flaxseed oil mixed with cashew nut dressing (home made using Vitamix) .
Dinner is usually brown basmati rice cooked plain or in coconut milk.\for added flavor and calories.
She is only eating a small serving of FOCC in the mornings on good days. Bad days she eats nothing...breakfast, lunch or dinner. Not even juice.
She was doing so well....till COVID vaccine........

Thanks for your reply Rod.
I believe where I went wrong is that I followed the protocol perhaps 75% from the beginning- although I never?ate any forbidden foods. ?However, although I followed this pattern for 3 years I did not wait until the tumors were completely gone before relaxing the protocol a bit more. ?So, after seeing my lung mets?double in size recently I have?recommitted?to following the Protocol to the letter until the tumors are gone. ?Interestingly- and I hate?to bring this up - I have read reports of cancer aggressively returning?following Covid vaccines. ?I suppose we will never know if there is a link, but my tumors were completely stable until recently after vaccine and boosters. ?Oh, well.

I had forgotten how nice the FO/CC was - so no idea why I let it lapse in 2021.

Re: Brain Mets information request
One thing I should add, John. A few months after I started Budwig I began reading about artemisinin and how it is effective against some cancers and is able to cross the blood/brain barrier so I added it periodically to my protocol. I also incorporated the bitter apricot kernels. Just trying to thrwo everything at it that I could. I cannot say how much or if they had any effect, good or bad, but I did use them and I did get better. It might be something to consider.

have a nice weekend and I will let you know how I get on?
