Re: Sauerkraut

Ron Muscella

I was only drinking about 2 or 3 ounces of the cabbage juice,
....and then added the celery/carrot/cucumber....another 2 or 3 ounces.
Everyone has their own set amount they drink.

Now....making the sauerkraut and drinking its juices, is probably less expensive since you can make a large batch ,
and fridge it for awhile.? And probably more convenient once the batch is made.
Juicing the cabbage and other veggies can be a little more expensive,
?since you have to continually keep purchasing the items.
Now I do also buy from Trader Joes in the US,? raw and fermented sauerkraut..with the juice in it.
It is? 18 ounces(590 g) and sells for about $5 USD.
It will last about week to 10 days.

How much cabbage juice are you supposed to drink in the morning?

I have yet to figure out if buttermilk contains the d-lactic acid required to neutralize the L-lactic acid created by the tumors.?

Here are 2 important screenshots from the Budwig books.

Ron Muscella

I have been taking them for the last 10 years.
I let a small capful? soak in water in the fridge ...then just gulp them down with my tea....if you can handle the texture when swallowing.
One difference....chia seeds are taken whole....no grinding,
?...flaxseeds, on the other hand,? must be ground for beneficial effect.

I understand that chia seeds do not in any way replace flaxseed.? But they're okay on the Budwig diet, right?

I read we are supposed to drink it first thing in the morning. I tried but just couldn¡¯t tolerate the taste first thing in the morning. We are told that buttermilk is an alternative. I chose the buttermilk, and haven¡¯t had an issue, as a matter of fact I¡¯m doing really well. The buttermilk seems to coat my stomach, and I find it rather pleasant.? Hats off to you for making your own sauerkraut. That might make it more palatable.

I think both of these are powerful probiotics. The science behind the protocol is amazing.

I just wanted to chime in here.

I was trying to make homemade kraut for my first 2 weeks of the diet, so I hadn't added in kraut immediately. After adding in the kraut juice to the diet, I notice immediate relief on my tumor areas for about 8-10 hours. It must mean a reduction in inflammation and the kraut will neutralize the lactic acid within your system (which is generated by muscles and tumors).?

If you read the Budwig books; it basically says you can't really cure cancer without kraut in your diet. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP.

If you are in a pinch; you can find organic raw kraut at the store containing literally 2 ingredients: kraut and Himalayan salt; then juice that.
