Hemp oil does have the "perfect" Omega-6 linoleic fatty acid to Omega-3 Linolenic fatty acid ratio of 3:1, BUT the problem is that due to government regulations, hemp seeds must be sterilized, subjected to heat to make them infertile, so only licensed growers can plant them. Thus, the PUFAs found in even cold-pressed oils are probably made with seeds subjected to heat and, accordingly, have had their PUFA components degraded. Maybe someday, our government will come to its senses! doug On Tue, Feb 20, 2024 at 2:32?PM Nina Kelly <ninakelly100@...> wrote:

Re: ACV Now Digestive Enzymes
30 years is a long time. Companies get bought. Twinlab original owners are long gone based on Wikipedia article. Similarly many companies that used to be good are taken over by big corporations and ingredients changed for bigger profits.

It may be still good but one should validate it¡¯s still using the old ingredients and sources. On Feb 19, 2024, at 1:33 PM, Jenny McCarthy via groups.io <mccar6@...> wrote: |

Re: Flax Oil question
I understand from a reliable source that if you are unable to use the flax seed oil that hemp oil is similar and may not give you the side effects.? The person who shared that was personally told that by Bill Henderson who wrote the book Cancer-Free Your Guide To Non-Toxic Healing.

Hello, dear group,
May I ask a question, please? Several months ago I finally started a regimen of taking the flax oil and cottage cheese combo. But I felt I had to stop, due to migraines. I experimented with it, and it really seemed that after a few days of eating the combo, I would get a migraine. If I stopped, the headaches stopped. When I started again, the headaches started again. Have you heard of others having this reaction? I remember that years ago, upon moving into a new-to-us old house, we applied linseed oil to a wood beam, and that triggered a terrible headache for me for days. Could I simply be allergic to flax oil and not able to eat the combo? I do not have any trouble with freshly ground flax seeds. My goal for taking the combo was to work on general health and for preventative reasons. Nearly all my family had cancers of different sorts, and last year I was having several alarming symptoms and wanted to work on them. Many thanks to you for any insights you might have. -Nina |
Re: ACV, flaxseed oil
My friend recently spoke to a customer service rep at Barleans.? When they found out she had cancer and that she was on the Budwig diet,? they let her know they discount the bottles of Barleans Flax Seed.oil.

Hi Zacc, Years ago when this all happened with my dad, I was scrambling to try and find different supplements and diet to help him. Before I was able to talk the doctor into letting me make his G-tube feedings I had read in one of the health books that I had had in my arsenal to look things up that sometimes when you take digest enzymes on an empty stomach, they go after extra fluid or inflammation in the body. I¡¯m talking roughly about 30 years ago almost. But I found that twin labs has I think the best digestive enzymes out there. Another occasion I did it way back when was when I took a line drive to the face playing softball. Lol. The orbit was fine but I tried doing the enzymes on an empty stomach and I feel like it helped the whole swollen area around my eyesocket and cheek reabsorb I think a lot quicker. Granted I was taking some vitamin C along with it. My whole point in this is that finding a good company to work with that you feel comfortable about their products is key. My choice just happens to be twin labs. Anyway, I hope this was a good explanation. Jenny |

Hello, Back in 1998 my dad had a subdural hematoma by his ear after surgery for a brain tumor. It was very large and actually distorted his ear. He had a G-tube and we use digestive enzymes to try and reduce the size of it. At the time, we were using Puritans pride and did not see any improvement. so I switched to twin labs digestive enzymes and within three days it totally disappeared. That is my experience with the Puritan¡®s Pride brand. Best, Jenny |
