I just want to add a couple to Sandra¡¯s wonderful list of foods. One of the fastest ways to raise your iron levels is to add seaweed to your diet. Especially wakame and spirulina. I usually order organic dried wakame from Amazon (online health stores like vitacost have it too). Then at home you just need to soak it in water for 20 minutes ?and cook it any way you like, salad, soup, whatever. Spirulina usually comes in powder, so you can add it to smoothies, juice or yogurt. I¡¯ve always had low iron and these two foods have made a big difference for me.? Also, keep in mind that often the underlying reason is poor gut health. Focus on improving the gut lining and you¡¯ll see a big difference. That¡¯s why sauerkraut is such a huge part of the Budwig diet. It¡¯s also really helpful to add aloe vera, ?dandelion greens and astragalus to your daily diet. They improve the absorption of all nutrients through the gut. Especially astragalus has been a game changer for me. I no longer need to take iron pills every day.? I hope this is helpful to you. All the best, - Ivanka? Re: Bowel cancer
Hi Tammy,
To build the amount of iron in your body, eat beans, lentils, or chickpeas daily in your salad at lunch and/or with grains at dinner. Also, other foods that have a good amount of iron are spinach, pumpkin seeds, raisins, quinoa, unsweetened dark cocoa, and molasses Dr. Budwig included all of these foods in her diet. If you have trouble digesting beans, start with a small amount and build your intake over time. Kind regards, Sandra |

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHello Sandra ? What helps when you have low iron on the Budwig protocol? ? Thanks, Tammy ? ? Sent from for Windows ? From: Sandra Olson via groups.io

Re: Brain Mets information request ip6
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýCaution for those interested in IP6. It is harsh on the digestive system. It may bloat and constipate you.Always start on the lowest dosage and slowly build up. On Jun 24, 2022, at 2:10 AM, Lykke Avalon <lykkedarling@...> wrote:

Re: Urgent: Fluid in lungs
Hi Rahel, in this case the degree of reduction of inflammation is the key Frankinsense essential oil applied topically (learned about it here in these groups) used in my mom's bone mets at the time A quinta, 23/06/2022, 13:04, Rahel Warshaw-Dadon <joy.forward@...> escreveu:

Re: Urgent: Fluid in lungs
Hi Rahel,
?There is no way to say for certain what will work in this case. ?It¡¯s true that the Budwig diet is anti-inflammatory. ?However, in the past various members here found that their tumors grew during. the first months of being on the Budwig plan. ?Using dandelion extract may or may not be enough to be successful. The Patient will have to decide whether he wants to take that risk. Kind regards, Sandra |
Re: Urgent: Fluid in lungs
Thanks, Sandra, however, the situation is still? that there is one tumor "pressing again his heart which is causing fluid...We need to shrink the tumors to be able to get the fluid drained..."." Would taking Dandelion extract as a natural diuretic, as Ivanka suggested, be a reasonable way for him to survive the first couple of months, thus naturally draining (hopefully) the fluid, until the tumors stop growing? TH?<resourceful.motion> suggested that reducing the inflammation might help to shrink the tumor.? I understand that the Budwig Diet is itself anti-inflammatory.? Is this correct? hoping for some vision here. Rahel Jerusalem On Wed, Jun 22, 2022 at 10:40 PM Sandra Olson via <sanols02=[email protected]> wrote: Hi Rahel, |
Re: Urgent: Fluid in lungs
Inflammation often causes the area occupied by the tumor to be larger than the actual cancer cells. Dexamethasone is often given to reduce bone metastasis at risk of compressing the spine, or as a means of fast pain reduction. Maybe it could help shrink the tumor (by lowering the surrounding inflammation)? On Wed, Jun 22, 2022 at 8:40 PM Sandra Olson via <sanols02=[email protected]> wrote: Hi Rahel, |
Re: Urgent: Fluid in lungs
Hi Rahel,
Yes, it is likely that the tumors will grow a little in the first couple of months before they begin to reduce in size. Also, remember that as long as they stop growing and are no longer active, the person is cancer-free. Sometimes it takes a long time for the tumors to be eliminated from the body, but as long as they are not growing, they're benign. Kind regards, Sandra |
Re: Urgent: Fluid in lungs
Thank you Ivanka, good ideas. Everyone else, I am still? wondering if it might be likely that the tumors will increase in size before decreasing in size. Anyone? thanks, Rahel Jerusalem On Wed, Jun 22, 2022 at 8:53 PM Vania <ivanjelina@...> wrote: Hi Rahel,? |

I¡¯d start him immediately on natural diuretics like a powerful dandelion extract before starting the diet, or alongside the diet. The one by Gaia herbs has been my go-to for over a decade. Research on dandelion and cancer has been very promising, so he¡¯ll get that and the fluid-reducing benefits. I¡¯d include in his diet also plenty of celery, parsley, cranberries and Cordyceps mushrooms, to give his body and his kidneys the maximum boost to try and expel the fluids naturally.? Urgent: Fluid in lungs
Shalom! an acquaintance posted on fb: "I need advice from stage 4 lung cancer survivors...My husband 35yrs old has 2 tumors one on his right lung 9cm and one pressing again his heart which is causing fluid...We need to shrink the tumors to be able to get the fluid drained...". I want to encourage them to start the Budwig Protocol.? However, I know that, in some cases, the tumors increase in size before they shrink.? Is that a danger for this patient? thanks, Rahel Jerusalem |
