Re: What is High Quality Dairy and what is acceptable?

Good morning, Dean. I don't shout it from the rooftops, because people always want to see numbers and I only have a story. I do have Navarro test results over time but a lot of people dismiss that.

You see, once we realized what was causing my 24/7 headaches, stomach pains, middle back pain, chest pain, chronic fatigue, and the inability to swallow food unless it was chewed up into mush, it was already too late. I was told my best bet would be to try and get into a trial. I never went back. That was over 7 years ago. I went home and got on the computer and searched. I came across Budwig by accident when I found out about a protocol called Cellect/Budwig where a doctor cured his late stage pancan with a mixture of anti-oxidants and Budwig. Of course he then marketed his concoction but that was above my means. However, I looked more into the Budwig aspect and that led me to this group.

I followed strictly and after 6 months all my symptoms were gone but for the headaches and the obstruction in my throat. Than I added coffee enemas. Not sure if that made the difference but a few months later I awoke without a headache for the first time in over a year. My Navarro numbers also had dropped.

But, even though I was healthy physically I was miserable mentally. I had read that some people had success with just the FO/CC and a "regular" diet so I started eating as I did prior to Budwig and sure enough, my symptoms started to return. I got back on schedule again and after a few months I was again symptom free. But, I was still miserable. I decided that Budwig would have to coexist with the occasional slice of pizza or taco, etc. So I would stick to the "propper" foods all week and Sunday became my cheat day. I found I could stay symptom free as long as I didn't go overboard and if I had to eat FO/CC for the rest of my life and still enjoy life I was good with that.

I went through a difficult period in the fall of 2018 when I was informed that my lease on my woodshop would not be renewed because the owners were going to start a business there. The stress was immense as I couldn't find anything near that would suffice. I eventually moved to the city near my daughter and for about 2 weeks with the move and getting all set up in a new place I was unable to follow the protocol. Eating fast food, no kitchen to juice or make FO/CC, the stress, etc, brought my cancer back with a vengeance. I didn't think I was going to come back from this one. But, once I got settled in and able to get back to Budwig with no cheating, I made the comeback again.

I am convinced that if you can stay on schedule and stay away from foods that you aren't supposed to eat, you will have success.

But, I couldn't, so I have experimented with other avenues to compliment Budwig in order to overcome my weaknesses.

I gotta go for now, got some sawdust to make.

Good Morning,

Dr. B. allowed hard cheeses like gouda, edam, etc, in the protocol. I like gouda so would eat that, and I also enjoy extra sharp cheddar although not sure if that is "high quality". I healed from stage 4 lung cancer however so I guess it is "high" ehough. Stuff like american cheese would not be considered acceptable.

All the best, Rod in MN/USA

I am in week 2 of the Budwig Protocol and I'm wondering what is meant by High Quality Dairy in the Oil-Protein Cookbook from 1952.

Can/Should I eat any cheese?
