Yep. I was watching the sedition caucus pretend they give a shit about "the American people who have a right to see the non-existent evidence."? Guess Trump was mad at Pence for refusing to orchestrate the coup.?? That was way too easy.? If they'd brought automatic weapons, they would have taken the capitol. One guy said "we'll be back and next time we'll bring weapons."? It's hard to believe that the capitol police weren't prepared.? They need to arrest Trump and throw him in jail and charge him.? Right now.? Because otherwise, he's not done.??

Yes, I would say things are going as expected.

What's Up with the Great Reset?

Good overview of the "Great Reset".

Perhaps Herr Schwab will step up and give away all he owns because with the "Great Reset" you will own nothing and be happy about it. Same with Prince Charles.

It kind of looks like maybe they are hiding something. YMMV.

A WHO investigation after a year of pandemic? Go figure.

Covid: WHO team investigating virus origins denied entry to China

Jeff Flake writes a good op-ed.? He provides his opinion on WTF these anti-democracy GOP malicious nincompoops are doing and why.??

"It is hard to comprehend how so many of my fellow Republicans were able ¡ª and are still able ¡ª to engage in the fantasy that they had not abruptly abandoned the principles they claimed to believe in. It is also difficult to understand how this betrayal could be driven by deference to the unprincipled, incoherent and blatantly self-interested politics of Donald Trump, defined as it is by its chaos and boundless dishonesty. The conclusion that I have come to is that they did it for the basest of reasons ¡ª sheer survival and rank opportunism.

But survival divorced from principle makes a politician unable to defend the institutions of American liberty when they come under threat by enemies foreign and domestic. And keeping your head down in capitulation to a rogue president makes you little more than furniture. One wonders if that is what my fellow Republicans had in mind when they first sought public office."

Apparently researchers and economists have predicted that excess deaths resulting from the pandemic lockdowns will reach 900,000 over the following 15 years. YMMV.

"The researchers, who are economists at Harvard University, Duke University, and Johns Hopkins University, predicted that the rise in unemployment throughout the pandemic will drive to about 890,000 to 1.37 million excess deaths over the next 15 years and 20 years, respectively."
