The internet died in 2016 or early 2017. It is now empty and devoid of real people - entirely sterile. Almost all of the supposedly human-produced content is fake, created using AI and secret algorithms. It is largely populated by bots aided by a group of elites that are on the payroll of various large corporations that are conspiring with government to control our thoughts and get us to buy stuff. YMMV.
