He will never leave the country. He can't live without his burgers and Coke, for one thing. The GOP as a political party is imploding. The extreme nature of where it is heading is fracturing the traditional Republican supporters. As it veers into batshit delusion, many are feeling disgust and their move into the lunatic fringe is alienating more people than appealing to them. Meanwhile, Biden keeps plodding forward all but ignoring the crashing and burning that is going on around him. His focus is amazing and his lack of response to the mentally deranged all around him is admirable. I just keep giving thanks to whatever powers that be that kept trump out of the WH for a second term. If he was still President, our country would be dead and I would be in some trauma center. A lot of us would be. No one with half a brain could have withstood another 4 years.
Yes, I agree.? We are nowhere near out of the woods yet with respect to hanging on to our democracy though.? 2022 will determine the course of our country. I too am amazed at Biden's focus.? Remember his response to Rump's histrionics during the debate?? "Will you shut up, man¡ªthis is so unpresidential."? Hilarious to see it again.??
The Senate continues to infuriate me, unfortunately.? I cannot believe that the ability to preserve our election integrity and by extension democracy lies in the hands of Joe Manchin from a state of 1.7 million that voted overwhelmingly for Rump and Kirsten Sinema from AZ (enough said there).? ? ? ??
