These days if I purchase online it would be greatest hits compilation to add to my disc library. ?
Last time I checked the rare SACD three disc set of Santana live in Japan, recorded in 1973, (Lotus ****) was going for $75.00 on Amazon and vinyl for $185.00 (SONY ASIN : B01MV3SPLJ). Go figure.
Santana's Lotus is my second favorite Santana album, after Caravanserai. (Latin-jazz fusion), second group lineup, back when Carlos was playing with John McLaughlin and Buddy Miles. YMMV.

According to what I've read, the SACD might be slightly better than original LP and probably somewhat better than the original CD.
