I believe that the Post Office needs names of all who will receive mail at the street address.

We seem to be at a standstill not knowing
what the contractor’s
responsibilities are. These are my suggestions.
(1) If the Road District has agreed to pay
the contractor to
do all the paperwork for the mailboxes, then he should do the
paperwork and
also deal with the postmaster regarding the two additional
parcel lockers. But
if that was his responsibility, I’m surprised he hasn’t already
done it. It
could/should have been done months ago.
(2) If it’s not in the agreement for him to
do the remaining
paperwork, I would be against the District paying him more to do
it. I’m
willing to do it, or the Board could do it.
(3) If am authorized to do the remaining
paperwork, then when
I meet with the Postmaster to give him the paperwork, I’ll
discuss the promised
parcel lockers. I don’t want to deal piecemeal with the
Postmaster. He’s a busy
guy.
I’m not lobbying to do anything. The Board
has full responsibility
for the mailbox project, and they will choose who does what,
when. If it’s in
the agreement for the contractor to do the paperwork, that’s
great. I’m just
interested in moving the mailbox project forward as quickly and
inexpensively
as possible.
Of course, the if the community saw the
agreement with the
contractor, we would all be better informed.

Jimmy, I hate to ask a really stupid
question, but why would they wait until after the construction to
do the paperwork? To have the mailboxes operational in the most
timely manner, the paperwork should be done in advance.
Construction and the paperwork are independent. What is/were their

Two paperwork tasks need to be completed. Below are
quotes my Nov 5 email:
(1) Previously, I have said that Doug
needed address for the undeveloped lots, but today he
said he would be satisfied knowing how many undeveloped
lots there are between the existing houses. The wants
the mailbox doors to be in the same order as the lots in
Fairfield Estates.
(2) He needs the names of all people
who will receive mail at each address in Fairfield
Estates (and perhaps their present PO Box – I’m not sure
about that but can find out.). This information needs to
go to Phoenix to be put into the USPS system. He said
this might take as little as three weeks.
I thought contractor was going to do everything, but
apparently not. Who is going to do the paperwork? I'm
