Matt, I just paid this years insurance bill and noticed that we carry $1,000,000 in general liability $1,000,000 in personal injury all for FRMID to protect the Board and everyone that lives in the District from a law suit due to a potential accident if there is one, and they decide to blame the district.?
With this in mind, it¡¯s a good reason to control all those that do not respect the speed limits we have posted.
In today¡¯s world, one million is not that much for bodily injury claims. I personally do not want to be part of a law suit that has to come out of pocket if the damages are more than our coverage. It should be discussed if we seek more coverage ( cost ?increase) or police the community and speeders more.?
