The board is required to provide a 24 hour notice and post the notice in 3 locations.?
This regulation was followed to my knowledge as I posted 2 of the notices and sent Hal another to distribute via email.?
I would like to remind everyone that we are neighbors, not politicians. You seem to treat us as though we work for you, I can assure you we don't. We work for the neighborhood volunteering our time.?
If you continue to be adversarial, we will only offer what is required to protect ourselves from further accusations. This will surely promote more accusations and divide the neighborhood as we have seen in the past.?
Or, we can try and work together as a community, recognize when improvement is needed, and work in a direction to promote a stronger bond and promote the free flow of information.?

Ken,
I am not on the board and do not know the details.? They have already admitted that it could have been handled better and have apologized.? There is no need to continue to hound them for something they can¡¯t undo.? Instead offer suggestions of what you would prefer to see in the future.? Me personally - an email notification and a posting on the mailboxes at least one week prior would be sufficient notice.? Any other thoughts?

I am confident this poor communication of a meeting was an oversight.

In the future we will be attaching a sign to the mailbox barriers to post future notices. Additionally, we will be sending out notices over the email group as a back up to the physical notice. With that being said, I wanted to say thank you to all that helped get the mailboxes installed. It was a significant accomplishment, and though it certainly took longer than any one wanted, in the end we were successful.

The board is respectfully asking individuals? to park their cars and exit their vehicles to check their mail. There is to great a potential for a car to hit the mail boxes if you attempt to pull up close enough to check your mail without exiting your vehicle. We feel to much effort and money has been spent to have our new mailboxes damaged in this fashion.

Again, the board is respectfully asking that residents of the district as well as their guests please obey the posted speed limit. As an added incentive, the board is exploring installing speed humps to encourage vehicles to slow down. This will be a discussion at the next board meeting.
