Good Morning Will,
I'm in California, completely out of the picture, and have no idea what is going on. You should contact the Chair of the FERIMD, Jim Ruby. You can reach him through our email group.

Thanks,
Ken

Good morning. I¡¯m just following up to see if there¡¯s been any more progress on this issue. If so please provide me an update. Please also confirm that no construction will occur until after 3C MDC review and approvals. Thanks¡

Will,
Sorry for the delay but we might have a new and more spacious site for the boxes.? It would be on school district property on the east side of the Fairfield Cir across across from the previous site. We sent them a proposal for an easement a couple months ago and only last Tuesday they discussed it in School Board Meeting. It looks somewhat promising but I'm not sure when they are going to reach a final decision. I leave for the summer on June 1, and someone else may or may not take over for me.
But you will hear from us again although it might not be until September.
Thanks,
Ken

Will,

I am aware that the 3 Canyons CCRs require that ¡°structures and improvements¡± be set back at least 100 feet from property lines. ?Attached are photos of all the cluster mailboxes that I know of in 3 Canyons, and I don¡¯t believe that any of them conform to the CCRs. For one thing, all are on or near roads. The roads are most likely on easements, which means the roads are either on property lines or within 20¡¯ to 40¡¯ of property lines. Furthermore, for mailboxes to be installed 100 ft from any property line would require them to be in the middle of a lot at least 200 ft on the sides or 40,000 sq ft, which doesn¡¯t sound reasonable. We simply request that the Fairfield Estates cluster mailboxes be treated as the others in 3 Canyons.

Incidentally, our mailboxes will be sited similar to those on Airstrip. That is on the west side of the road with a pullout for parking. However, their parking area is about 20 ft wide whereas ours will be closer to 10 ft wide, and it will be shorter in length.

We are still working on some possible times to meet with you.

Respectfully,

Ken

Mr Cameron,

Thank your for your inquiry.

I acknowledge receipt of your request to construct a cluster mailbox on Fairfield circle. However, given the site plan provided, I am unable to determine whether the proposal meets requisite 3C CCR setbacks.

I propose therefore we meet on site to review your plans. I am available most dates / times beginning next week. Please proposed some options that are conducive to your schedule.

Thanks¡
