Train Master

Thanks for admitting me to the FM club. I have uploaded some pictures to the Train Master folder. When Canadian Pacific first started running the TMs in 1952 they ran them long hood forward. Some had full width short hood to accommodate 2 steam generators for cold weather passenger service. I rode 8901 a couple of times in 1960. The color shot was taken by Robert Sandusky, on the Moose Jaw? - North Portal sub in SE Saskatchewan, in May 1960. I took the picture of 8911 in August 1965. 8905 is the only TM preserved and is at Expo Rail at Delson, Quebec,? just south of Montreal.?

Re: Still Operating FM's?

FM H12-44 Demonstrator is still in operation at a freight transfer facility in NC , south of Fuquay-Varina ...

Still Operating FM's?

I'll start off here.? :^)

Are there any FM's still operating outside of museums?? And what has become of the TVA H16-66?? The last I've heard of it was an article (Railfan Railroad?) on it's cosmetic restoration back in the 1990's.
