I didn't know that there were other H16-44's with a 3 fan cooling arangement.? The Canadian Pacific ones did, centered and angled towards the short-hood.

I believe the CLC Built models are the only ones sporting that style of 3 fans , with the 3rd fan centered on the roof ... I believe some of the clc h16-44 engines had the Beloit standard of 2 fans

The Canadian Pacific ones were all made with the centered third fan.? But it seems you are correct, the ones made for Canadian National have the traditional three fans with the spot where a fourth
