Ribbon cable removal help

Looking for some help on how to remove the ribbon cable between the main and pa boards on a FT-857. Don¡¯t see any kind of latch on the jst connector so can I just pull it out?

Yes, be careful not to break the plastic backing. It's blue in most cases.
