Remote Mike

[email protected] All Messages By This Member #50291 I have a Yaesu MH-59A8J on my 857D and recently added and program a new repeater into my radio and now the my buttons on my mic are red. I have checked it and the radio is not locked what would cause this?

I know some microphones have a light switch to turn it on or off, such as the MH-48A6J. But I believe the MH-59A8J doesn't have the ability to turn the backlight off. Have you programmed any of the mic buttons? I couldn't find anything on changing the color of the keys or why that might happen.
