The buttons were green before I programmed the new repeater into the rig. I did not program the buttons on the mike.?

The red background light on the mic buttons is normal. Was it not red before? I know some microphones have a light switch to turn it on or off, such as the MH-48A6J. But I believe the MH-59A8J doesn't have the ability to turn the backlight off.
Have you programmed any of the mic buttons?

I have a Yaesu MH-59A8J on my 857D and recently added and program a new repeater into my radio and now the my buttons on my mic are red. I have checked it and the radio is not locked what would cause this?
