To send CW via FlDigi you will need to setup the DTR-RTS Keying parameters for CW under the Modems in the configuration. That will be the RTS or DTR line using RigCat serial port. Or you can select a

Yes with the RJ45 plug I have the center conductor on the headset mic plug is to pin 4 blue/white and bare wire to pin 5 solid blue. PTT is wired into a foot switch, I have PTT control but power on

Did you wire the Mic to pins 4&5 of the RJ45 Connector. How are you providing ptt to the radio?? Are you using VOX mode and if so did you try adjusting Menu 88 vox gain? Also do you have menu 59
