I have my Signalink connected to the audio port. The CAT connector has no audio. I use the Signalink and the CAT port to connect to a Raspberry Pi and all works well including WINLINK Don Dodge Cell

I use the MH-59A8J for the added buttons and controls. But I do have the following note in my log: On 10M FM above 35 or 40W (and possibly other bands and modes), the transmitter will not stop

Call Yaesu USA 714-827-7600. They still support the 857D and they are very reasonable on parts/labor.
