Leonard-san, Great INFO!! Yeah, there should be the different ROM issue. I’ll cross my fingers that YAESU uses the same ROM on all regional models. Then now the J1004-J1006 are the concerns. :) 73,

Assuming the attachment makes it through this jumper sheet should give you a good idea how to start. From my understanding the JA radio have a different ROM chip so you won't be able to make it 100%

It's a very challenging MOD without the ability to see clearly and solder effectively but you can review this. Most folks want to MOD not DeMOD but these will show you what it looks like stock too.
